Product FAQs
What are brasnaps?
brasnaps are designed to help keep your bra straps securely in place and reduce loosening, slipping, sagging and constant readjusting.
They attach directly to your bra strap, right underneath the strap adjuster, helping keep the strap where you want it.
How do brasnaps work?
It's simple:
1. Measure your bra strap and choose the right brasnaps size.
2. Position brasnaps on the top bra strap, directly underneath the strap adjuster.
3. Snap brasnaps securely into place.
Once attached correctly, brasnaps help hold the strap in position while you move.
Where exactly should I attach brasnaps?
For the best results, brasnaps should be attached to the top bra strap, directly underneath the strap adjuster.
This positioning is important because it helps brasnaps work with the strap adjuster rather than interfering with it.
Will brasnaps work with any bra?
brasnaps are designed to work with most common bra strap styles, provided the strap is within the recommended width range and has a suitable strap/adjuster configuration.
However, because bra designs and body shapes vary, brasnaps may not be suitable for every bra or every wearer.
If your bra has an especially wide or thin bra straps, we recommend checking the fit before purchasing. Alternatively, you can contact us on hello@cuedi.com and we can help advise!
Why might brasnaps not work for me?
brasnaps are designed to help with bra-strap loosening, but they cannot completely overcome every combination of bra design and body shape.
They may be less effective if you have:
- Very sloped shoulders, where straps naturally have a strong tendency to slide outward;
- very narrow shoulders;
- a bra strap that is beyond the 20 mm recommended width range;
- a strap with unusual construction that doesn't allow brasnaps to sit securely, or;
- a strap adjuster that sits in a position that doesn't allow brasnaps to be placed underneath it correctly.
In these situations, brasnaps may still help, but we cannot guarantee that they will completely prevent slipping.
I have very sloped shoulders. Will brasnaps work for me?
brasnaps can help reduce strap movement, but very sloped shoulders may make strap slipping more difficult to control because the strap naturally wants to move toward the edge of the shoulder.
If you have particularly sloped or narrow shoulders, we recommend trying brasnaps with a bra that has a relatively secure strap position and making sure brasnaps are positioned correctly underneath the adjuster.
We can't guarantee that brasnaps will completely prevent slipping for every body shape.
Will brasnaps work on racerback bras?
As long as your bra has an adjuster, our brasnaps will work!
Will brasnaps work on sports bras?
They with most sports bras, provided the straps are compatible with the brasnaps size range and have a suitable construction.
However, because some sports bras can have wider, thicker and more elasticised straps, compatibility will vary between styles.
For straps wider than 20 mm, brasnaps may not be suitable.
Can I wear brasnaps all day?
Yes. We've created brasnaps with comfort being our top priority. brasnaps are designed to be worn throughout the day when correctly fitted and positioned.
For the best experience, make sure the correct size is selected and brasnaps are securely attached directly underneath the strap adjuster.
Will brasnaps damage my bra?
When correctly fitted and used as intended, brasnaps are designed to attach to your bra strap without requiring permanent alterations to your bra.
However, we recommend checking your bra and brasnaps regularly for any signs of wear or damage, particularly if you're using them with delicate fabrics.
Do not use brasnaps if either the clip or strap appears damaged.
Can I move brasnaps between different bras?
Yes. brasnaps can be moved between compatible bras.
Just make sure the strap on the new bra is within the appropriate size range and that brasnaps can be positioned correctly underneath the strap adjuster.
Are brasnaps recyclable?
Our BraSnaps are made from recyclable plastic and designed for long-term, repeated wear. We want to create products that are durable, reusable and made to become a lasting part of your wardrobe, it's not something you use once and throw away.
Do I need brasnaps on both straps?
For the most consistent result, we recommend using brasnaps on both bra straps.
This helps keep both straps positioned securely and creates a more balanced fit.
Are brasnaps difficult to put on?
Not at all.
Once you've selected the correct size, simply position brasnaps on the top bra strap directly underneath the adjuster and snap them securely into place.
Our How It Works guide shows the process step-by-step.
Why are my brasnaps slipping or moving?
If brasnaps aren't staying securely in place, first check:
✓ Is the size correct?
Small = up to 10 mm. Large = 11–20 mm.
✓ Are they positioned correctly?
They should sit on the top strap, directly underneath the adjuster.
✓ Is the strap particularly slippery or stretchy?
Some materials may provide less grip.
✓ Is the strap outside the recommended width range?
brasnaps are designed for straps between 0–20 mm, with Small and Large selected according to the sizing guide.
✓ Does your body shape naturally pull the strap outward?
Very sloped or narrow shoulders can make strap retention more challenging.
✓ Are you wearing a properly fitted bra?
If none of the above applies and you're still finding that you're readjusting your bra, ensure that your bra is properly fitted.
